Jean-Charles CONNIER founded CANY IMMOBILIER in 1997. Born in 1963 in Boulogne-Billancourt, he is the grandson of Charles CORRUBLE, a Cape Horner, Grand Banks fisherman, and Free French, and Charles CONNIER, a real estate agent in Paris’s 1st arrondissement (20, rue Montmartre) from the 1950s to the 1970s. He is married and the father of three children and three grand-children.
After studying law at Paris II Assas, serving as a sub-lieutenant in Germany, and working as a long-haul flight attendant for Air France in Asia, he began his real estate career in 1989, specializing in new property sales in Yvelines. He worked as a negotiator in department 78, then in Paris’s 8th arrondissement, before becoming an Investment Manager, and later, Head of Investments at Groupe Pelloux (a Real Estate Investment Company) at 50, Avenue des Champs-Élysées, Paris, in 1992.
In 1995, he chose to settle in Normandy, close to his maternal roots, and became a real estate agency director in Seine-Maritime before founding CANY IMMOBILIER in 1997 in Cany-Barville, between Dieppe and Le Havre.
A passionate real estate professional, his experience in prestigious Parisian properties naturally led him to specialize in character homes in Normandy. After more than 25 years exploring the Pays de Caux and selling hundreds of properties, he now offers unparalleled expertise in marketing and acquiring homes in Normandy.
A true family real estate tradition since 1950, from his grandfather Charles to his wife Patricia, and now his youngest son, Louis, who joined the family business in 2022, continuing the same passion for exceptional properties.
